You can be part of this community effort.
We will
- PROVIDE collection record envelopes and informational materials.
You will
- PROMOTE the Hike in your congregation, neighborhood, place of employment, etc.
- INVITE others to participate in the Hike, both by walking and with their contributions.
- COLLECT contributions and turn in all collected money on Hike Day.
- HIKE the pleasant route with people of all ages; enjoy an autumn day with this walk of five to six miles, at your own pace. Water and rest stops provided along the way.
- RETURN from the Hike for entertainment and snacks, provided by local merchants.
Your friends may
- SPONSOR one or more hikers with a pledge. Every pledge helps.
Your employer may
- MATCH funds.
Join us again later for a celebration when checks are given to agency representatives and special recognitions are made.
